Approved articulation agreements with other institutions may increase the number of eligible credits for the transfer. The MTA is a great opportunity for students to take a group of basic college courses at a lower level, knowing that they will be transferred and will apply to many four-year institutions in Michigan. As part of appropriate work, students can work on their MTA courses to meet other academic requirements at their later institution. It is important to note that the MTA is not the most appropriate for all programs. There are many programs around the state for which the MTA is not suitable. Students are encouraged to work with their counsellors to choose the best course of action. Students who move from a Michigan institution with a completed MTA have met much of their um-Flint requirements for general education. A completed MTA meets the following UM-Flint requirements for general education: All university programs that are accredited on a region [the current hyperlian connection does not work, the new link entity] with the “C”/2.0 or higher score, are transferred to UM-Flint. For a more detailed response, please see Transfer Student Information in the Admissions section of the University`s catalogue. Completed courses that are not included in the online transfer appraiser could still be transferred to UM-Flint.
Send official transcripts to check. Up to 9 hours of semesters required for a master`s degree can be transferred from any combination of the above institutions to a student`s UM-Flint graduate list. Graduate programs may choose to authorize less than 9 hours of semester or prohibit transfer credits. This credit can only be transferred for recognised end-of-year courses if all the following conditions are met. Below, we describe the MTA courses by the sending institution. These courses were evaluated based on the distribution needs of the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA). Other schools and higher education institutions have different requirements for the transmission of MTA course certificates and different requirements from the courses required for admission. Please check our requirements and deadlines (add a link). Step 4: Assess your creditsEe our simple online transfer appraiser to see which of your credits will be transferred to UM-Flint. It`s a great tool to stay on track for a one-off graduation. If you decide to get passport/fail notes on the college transcripts of your current semester, we provide transfer credits for course. It is important for you to know that some UM-Flint secondary licensing programs still need letter notes to include you in their program.
